Wovor hast du Angst, fragt Naomi Potter. Die Gardine, sagt sie, trennt immer zwei Dinge; drinnen und draußen, Du und ich, sie und wir, Frage und Antwort, eine banale Geste verdeckt die dahinter verborgene Seite der menschliche Natur. Die Gardine liefert einen Rückschluß auf die Frage, wovor man Angst hast.

In Berlin, windows everywhere are covered in lacy curtains that depict flowers and other tranquil scenes of nature and the home. These milky fields form a strange seperation which reverses itself depending on time of day or night, a fluxuating transparent wall to hide behind, allowing those on the "outside" to see in and those on the "inside" to see nothing. In this site installation the white flower wall provides the ground on which the question "what are you afraid of" is asked.
